Alex and Jack had an intimate London Wedding at The Old Marylebone Town Hall that was full of love and family. Although that sounds like how any wedding should be, this day was beyond special and constantly tugged on my heart strings. The wedding had been changed three times before the big day went ahead due to being in the year of the COVID breakout and both Alex and Jack had to deal with constant changes of rules. Juggling venues and going from 80 guests down to 15 in the end, they were so inspiring not letting anything get in their way.
In the morning I arrived at Alex’s Grandparents house where she was getting ready with her best friend, Mum, Dad and Grandparents. They were all so hospitable offering me breakfast and even offered me a glass of champagne to celebrate! It was so nice to be immediately welcomed in. Alex mentioned how she loved watching my instagram stories of my dog Reggie and how she relates to my cosy movie nights in (I do love a Harry Potter marathon!) Within minutes of me being there I already loved the family.
Alex mentioned previously how her Grandad had been organising all of his garden ready for pictures for her big day. The garden looked absolutely stunning and for October we were so lucky with weather. Her grandad had done a beautiful job gardening pots of flowers and creating his very own flower arch! Capturing Alex with her Grandparents was one of my greatest rewards. You could honestly see in their eyes how proud they are of her and it reminded me of the relationship I had with my grandparents.
I hopped in a cab with Lucy (MOH), Alex’s Mum and Grandparents. We managed to pass Alex and her Dad on route even though they had a 20 minutes head start as we were allowed to take bus lanes in the black cab. Alex was ready with her rescue remedy to calm her nerves as we were about 10 minutes away from the Wedding Ceremony.
It was essential the guests remained socially distanced and had masks on during the ceremony while of course Jack was waiting ready for the big moment!
JUST MARRIED!!!!
As the guests headed for the exit ready for the confetti shots, I made sure Alex and Jack took a super slow walk so we could sneak in five minutes of pictures inside The Old Marylebone Town Hall. Due to covid the rules were very strict but we managed to get some stunning portraits inside!
Before the big day Alex mentioned they were not the type of couple to be in front of the camera as they felt it might be awkward and that it was a push even getting wedding pictures done but look how their couple portraits came out! They looked amazing!

Honeymoon Details: Alex & Jack are still waiting on restrictions to lift so they can finally travel around America and explore California & Florida for a month. I wish all the luck and love in the world to them and their whole family that were so kind, genuine and had hearts full of love! I can’t wait to finally see them go on their road trip through America! Windows down, music blaring and sun on their faces! I am beyond excited for them! (Have I told you California is my all time favourite place.) Hopefully I can live vicariously through the pictures they take!
THEIR REVIEW:
“We can’t recommend Victoria enough, she was the one thing that didn’t cause us stress in the lead up to our covid wedding! She fit in so nicely with our family and friends (they still ask about her now) and of course, our photos are absolutely beautiful. We aren’t the best at taking photos, she made us feel comfortable and captured the day beautifully. She is fun, kind and talented and we can’t thank her enough. We wouldn’t change a thing about our photos, would definitely use her again” Alex & Jack
